Andy Shea is Founder and CEO of Jackson Street Partners, LLC and has nearly three decades of national press and executive-level communications agency experience.
Andy has helped clients confront hundreds of high-profile situations, including media-charged litigation, news investigations, labor disputes, legislative and regulatory action, and agenda-driven opposition campaigns.
Throughout his career Andy has counseled clients across a wide range of industries, including those in the chemical, insurance, telecom, sports, private equity, internet domain, entertainment, industrial, government contracting, technology, manufacturing, consumer product and health care sectors.
He has led international communications strategy and execution for billion dollar transactions, managed catastrophes attracting on-site press and community engagement, and served as a front-line spokesperson and media representative for clients facing litigation, bankruptcy protection, acquisitions and material announcements.
In addition to his crisis work, Andy has led story-driven branding initiatives, conceptualized and executed digital content campaigns, and executive produced documentaries directed by Emmy award-winning professionals.
Andy has also placed over 50 op-eds bylined by subject matter experts that have appeared in both national and regional publications including USA Today, The Hill, Real Clear, Seattle Times, and MSN.
Prior to forming Jackson Street, Andy was a Senior Vice President and 15-year veteran of Dezenhall Resources. He was a practice group leader at the crisis management firm and advised many of the agency’s high profile clients facing media and regulatory scrutiny.
Previously, Andy worked for a national political research firm where he advised clients running for U.S. Congress on message and positioning strategies during the 1994 electoral cycle.
Early in his career, Andy worked for several political news organizations, including Evans and Novak’s INSIDE REPORT, the National Journal’s “Political Hotline,” and CNN’s “The Capital Gang” and “Reliable Sources” programs.
